40 And I begged your disciples that they would expel it, and they were not able to do so.” 41 So Jesus answered and[a] said, “O unbelieving and perverted generation! How long[b] will I be with you and put up with you? Bring your son here!” 42 And while[c] he was still approaching, the demon threw him down and convulsed him.[d] But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
